Arrived KK this morning from Sandakan. Rented a car - 30 dollars a day - and drove (on the left) to Promenade Hotel which is located downtown. Turns out that downtown is quite small.
Couldn't check in yet so left bags and went to Sunday market - junky, then mooched around some other shops and didn't find much
Lunch was sushi at a mall restaurant
Back to check in then went back out again. Ended up having Dinner at a street BBQ.. Interesting and hope we aren't sick tomorrow..
Got to get some sleep
